Kingsley Field Airmen train on new deployable instrument landing system radar

KINGSLEY FIELD, Ore. -- A crew of 270th Air Traffic Control Squadron Airmen work to erect a new Deployable Instrument Landing System radar during annual training at Kingsley Field in Klamath Falls, Ore., Sept. 17, 2020. The upgraded system is designed to provide precision guidance to aircraft on final approach when visibility is low, and is designed to be mobile.
