173rd Fighter Wing Airmen enjoy local beauty, work to preserve it

Airmen from the 173rd Fighter Wing kayak down a local river flowing into Klamath Lake during the summer months. The Klamath Basin is home to a number of spring creeks where the entire river flows from underground volcanic formations, keeping water cold and clear even in the hottest summer months.
