Snowflake Parade

The 173rd Maintenance Group at Kingsley Field showcased a newly constructed F-15 replica during its second sortie at the Annual Snowflake Parade down Main Street in Klamath Falls, Oregon, Dec. 6, 2018. The small vehicle, known as the “Eaglet” was constructed by volunteers from across the 173rd Maintenance Squadron on their own time using donated parts, with Senior Airman Cameron Curtain spearheading the effort. Snowflake Parade

The 173rd Fighter Wing Fire Department participated in the parade, making their way along the parade route during the 34th Annual Snowflake Parade in Klamath Falls, Oregon, Dec. 6, 2018. The Kingsley Field Fire Department routinely lends its expertise to help outside the gates of the base helping fight structure and wildland fires, responding to motor vehicle accidents and other medical emergencies. The 270th Air Traffic Control Squadron showcased one of their large vehicles festooned with lights and snow netting during the 34th Annual Snowflake Parade through downtown Klamath Falls, Oregon, Dec. 6, 2018. The 270th ATCS has a warfighting mission that can take them around the world to control aircraft; vehicles like this one are necessary to facilitate such a mission.
