United States of America Miss Oregon, Madison McCuiston, plans to represent #TeamKingsley by donning a fire fighter helmet from the Kingsley Field Fire Dept. for one of her presentations during the USOA national pageant next month. McCuiston is the daughter of one of our former commanders at the base, Lt. Col. (retired) Lance McCuiston, and is an advocate for military veterans. "I chose to represent the Fire Department from Kingsley Field on the United States of America Pageants national stage because as a state we have overcome a many ups and downs this year," said McCuiston. "This last summer, we experienced the worst fires we have seen in years and they have destroyed hundreds of miles of Oregon forests, and even whole cities but we continue to persevere. This would not be possible without our amazing firefighters who put their lives on the line to protect our state and so many others. I am honored and blessed to represent their bravery on the national stage and USOA Miss Oregon 2021."
