Two Thousand Rods and Reels program
Alyssa and Kathrine Michaelis fish the Klamath River with brand-new fishing rods and reels donated by The Two Thousand Rods and Reels program for Military Families. Tami Narramore of the Airman Family and Readiness Center submitted a request to the program and as a result military families at Kingsley received 100 fishing rods free of charge. Those rods and reels were distributed to children deployed members who were 12 and under and then to those who submitted their names to be in the drawing for the remaining poles. (Photo courtesy Maj.
