Local contractors and 173rd Fighter Wing members completed renovations to the Airman Housing building March, 2017 on Kingsley Field in Klamath Falls, Oregon. Members of the 173rd Force Support Flight Services kicked off the renovations in July 2016 with fresh coat of paint to most of the rooms and hallways of the dormitory. The Kingsley Field and Fresno units have a history of working together, in late 2013 the California unit brought jets and personnel to Klamath Falls for more than six months as a way to increase student production when they transitioned from the F-16 to the F-15 Eagle. The relationships developed then continues today as both units collaborate, sharing expertise, lessons learned and even tools to keep the fleet airworthy.
