Kingsley Airmen Embrace Guard-Active Integration

U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Zach Hamilton, 114th Fighter Squadron aircrew flight equipment technician, left, inspects pilot’s helmets with Staff Sgt. Christopher Burdi Aug. 5, 2018, on Kingsley Field in Klamath Falls, Ore. Burdi, also an AFE technician, is an active duty Airman who works with guardsmen like Hamilton through the Total Force Integration program. The TFI was implemented to boost 173rd Fighter Wing’s mission with additional Air Force Active Duty Airmen stationed at Kingsley Field in order to increase the number of pilots trained by the 173rd FW, the sole F-15C formal school house for the United States Air Force.
