Last fall construction crews broke ground on a new firehouse for Kingsley Field firefighting operations, and it was completed in early May 2019. The facility boasts nearly twice the square-footage of the old facility, upgraded exhaust evacuation, water handling capabilities, and many other upgrades which help ensure safe operation of the department as well as expanding capability for an expanded flying mission at Kingsley Field in Klamath Falls, Oregon.
