U.S. Air Force Master Sgt. Mike Shirar, a 173rd FW Maintenance Group resource advisor, opens a bleeding control station kit to show the eight sealed kits that each contain breathing and airway first aid capability in the event of a mass-casualty event such as an earthquake, Sept. 26, 2019. The addition of the kits to Kingsley Field in Klamath Falls, Oregon, buildings help bolster current readiness by replacing antiquated first aid kits dating to the 1980s and is in response to Oregon Governor Kate Browns plan to increase resilience across state agencies.
