Five Kingsley F-15s divert to Medford, Ore. Published Sept. 10, 2015 KINGSLEY FIELD, Ore. -- Five U.S. Air Force F-15 Eagles from the 173rd Fighter Wing out of Kingsley Field, Oregon were forced to land at the Rogue Valley International Airport in Medford, Oregon after a ground emergency forced the closure of the main runway at Kingsley Field. The aircraft were reporting they were low on fuel and needed to land quickly. The five aircraft landed without incident where they will be refueled and return to Kingsley Field once the runway is reopened. The ground emergency occurred at approximately 10:50 today when an F-15 landed following a routine training mission. The aircraft departed the runway causing the runway closure. No injuries were reported and the pilots exited the aircraft safely. No further information is available at this time. -30-
