    KINGSLEY FIELD, Ore. - It is the wing commander's intent to offer standard service hours for reliability and for effective use of Airmen's time. The wing's customer support sections agree and have updated their service hours to better accommodate 173rd Fighter Wing Airmen.

    The 173rd Fighter Wing hosted the senior staff, to include the president, of Oregon Institute of Technology, Jan. 3, 2017. This tour was a chance for 173rd FW and OIT leadership to build rapport and share ideas on how they can enhance their community partnerships with one another.

    A Team Kingsley Airmen from the 550th Fighter Squadron, the active duty tenant unit assigned to the 173rd Fighter Wing, was recognized for his superior performance. Senior Airman Bobby “Wayne” Steptoe earned “Thunderbolt of the Week” from the 56th Operations Group at Luke Air Force Base, Arizona.
